Just wondering if it is true that I can lose to the same trainer repeatedly in part 2 of the mew glitch.
Also how do you teach moves to the kabutops fossil form of missingno?, on Yellow version. I've heard it's supposed to be last pokemon in your party, but mine isn't learning any moves at all.

I've heard it's supposed to be last pokemon in your party, but mine isn't learning any moves at all. I'm no expert, but I'd use the Q trick to teach it whichever moves I want. It requires a Yellow version cartridge and Pokemon Stadium. Without the Q trick I don't think you can actually teach it anything. I think it inherits its moves from a pokemon in your party, but I don't remember which...

Its TM/HM learnset and Base Stats depend on the Pokémon directly above it, or in fact the last Pokémon in your party if you have it as the first Pokémon in the party excluding the CANCEL function. Consider a party of: Mewtwo Moltres Missingno. 0xB8 (Ghost) If we attempt to teach TM35 Metronome, you won't be able to teach it to Missingno. (Ghost) because Moltres does not learn Metronome. If we swap Mewtwo underneath Moltres however, Missingno. (Ghost) will be able to learn Metronome through TM35, because Mewtwo can. Ideally, we can put a Mew above a Kabutops Fossil, Aerodactyl Fossil or Ghost Missingno. to enable it to learn any TM/HM. We could then put a high base stat total glitch Pokémon above the 'special Missingno.' such as ゥ (R/B Hex:C1) or 3TrainerPoké (Y Hex:00) to copy over its base stats, though you would have to update its stats by using a Rare Candy or presumably depositing it in a box (box trick) first. Be careful about any Super Glitch moves your special Missingno. may have though.

It's been quite a while since I messed around with this, but I thought putting it under another Missingno and then viewing a pokedex entry had the same effect as putting it under the pokemon whose entry you viewed.
