Not by me though sadly. bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Trainer_House_glitchI should note that the glitch parties linked to I didn't battle when I had this happen to me, and how I ended up getting it is completely different and I don't know how it happened. It probably had something to do with the corrupted battle I had with my cousin over link battle. We had link cables in too but crazy generation 1 styled shit happened during that link battle. He also sent out an egg... Which was a Nidoran Female (the pokemon inside the egg) except it was using the Egg's name and pallete. But anyway, the trainer list appears to be missing the two pokemon I fought the first time. It may be related to his Gameboy pocket connected to my GBC but I can't be sure. Anyway, the first time I fought, the pokemon I encountered were these: Trainer name: PKMN Trainer [BLANK] Level 0 Venonat Level127 Pincer. The Level 127 Pincer was in another roster, but the Level 0 venonat is nowhere to be found on the list. Then later, it seems the trainer house trainers corrupted again. This time though I got a glitch trainer named ***********9 The asterisks representing blank spaces of course. In his party he sent out a Cloyster. I beat it and he sent out a ?? stealing Cloyster's sprite. Then the game got stuck. 9 would change his party again sometime later. Instead his first pokemon was in Igglybuff but his second was still a ?? which then proceeded to use Igglybuff's sprite. Then of course, the game got stuck. I corrected the issue seemingly permanently by performing Mystery Gift with my cousin. However, the mail still remains in my PC as a reminder. Also, looking at the mail will cause the glitch to happen again. Depending upon the mail looked at, different trainers may appear. I'd have to check again, but I'm afraid I can't due to my Silver version's save probably close to dying and it being prone to crashing. (it lived a very good life.) But anyway, Just thought I'd eleborate on glitch trainers I've faced before. It seems the more corrupted the mail you read is, the more unstable the trainer is as well.

A few months ago, Paco81 told us that viewing certain glitch Unown would give out different glitch Trainer house Trainers, decorations and Mystery Gifts and that you could obtain glitch Unown via memory corruption with a ????? (FF) obtained with the Celebi glitch, i.e. by withdrawing 7+ Pokémon without cheating. You can find the original post here, and the completed list here. I added some of the details to the Trainer House glitch to the Bulbapedia article (about the Unown method), though not exactly the full method of getting the Unown yet, i.e. from getting a Bad Clone to withdrawing 11 or more Pokémon and not only messing your Unown Dex up but also your seen and own entries in the Pokédex. One of the details which happens to conflict with DC24 (Unown 1) is the fourth move's PP of Pokémon #11. Though there are lots others because a Pokémon's data structure is so big, and you can withdraw a handful more Pokémon before the game freezes. A Bulbapedia user expanded the article's effects, added the list Paco81 completed, associated glitch rosters with the glitch Unown (apparently constant) and also added that you only need to modify the time (assumably via clock reset password or Day-Light Saving Time?) just after a Mystery Gift or trade, though I don't know if that's a confusion with some glitch dimensions or glitch maps which do change the time. I've just cleaned the article up a bit, because there was a lot of speculation on it. It also suggests that there is only one effect for the time-change method (PkMn Trainer Thomas and some glitch decorations), but I don't know if this one gives you a glitch Mystery Gift. He/she has videos here though.

Yeah. He replied to me on youtube. Apparently, there are even more trainers you can encounter if it happens because of a corrupted link battle. Such as the trainers I faced. That made sense considering I some how ended up corrupting a link battle and I'm not sure how. But there was a ton of crazy stuff. It seemed to only hit me though. lol. My cousin missed any ill effects on his end for whatever the reason.

Did the game freeze or go into a glitch dimension, or did the time change or something? Thinking about it, maybe we should force a ????? (one that triggers the waiting... message) and see if that actually causes it too. The only trouble would be running away without the game hanging on waiting... but then again there's always memory viewer, and that could be used to check if you obtain any glitch mail. Does anyone know where the Trainer House roster is located in the game code (i.e. editable RAM)? That would make for a great Gameshark code too, if you could literally make your own Trainer, but then again you could probably fake a good Trainer (as seen with Cable Club escape glitch) with a lot of codes on Red/Blue as well.

The Viridian Trainer House Glitch and the Mailbox Overflow seem to be closely related. This glitch has to be caused by some sort of memory overflow into those parts of the RAM or SRAM, but question is, how can this be controlled?

I guess I should Probably list what happened during that link battle. Well, I'm not quite sure what corrupted the link battle, maybe the connection was off a little I think when I traded with my cousin earlier in the that year (how much earlier I can't remember as this was A VERY long time ago.) I thought I would try that link cable cloning rumor I heard. Though I think I did it wrong. Maybe that's releated to what caused the trainer battle between me and him to corrupt. I'm just speaking hypothetically of course keep in mind. But basically, I'll post the details of what strange events occured. Much like if you disconnect link cable in generation 1 during a battle, weird stuff happens. Since GS is built off of the generation 1 engine, this would explain while effects were similar. First off the fight proceeded as normal. We had started fighting. He sent out his first pokemon. Can't remember what though as it was a VERY LONG time ago. However, after the first one, he sent out a bug pokemon that he didn't own. I think it was a butterfree. I know at one point in that fight a butterfree was sent out. This butterfree had an HP bar that stretched across the screen but had no status problems and I believe I killed it in one hit. Anyway I think after that, my game got stuck on waiting. However, my cousin on his side was fighting my party except controlled by AI apparently... However, he was able to send out his egg into battle and it was the pokemon inside, a Nidoran Female. Except the Nidoran was using the Egg's pallete and its name still said EGG. So while I can't remember details throughly, something before I reached Kanto triggered that mess. Weather it was the above trainer battle, or something related to me trying to do mystery gift without a partner. (I did do it and just sat there, So maybe the IR was trying to read something. I had a GBC then so I can't help but wonder if IR connector interference was related. I can't prove this theory as I no longer own a GBC and am afraid to check my silver version to see if it still had its savefile or not. I still have a Crytal version that's in working order though. If I can find a gameboy color I could probably test it on that. Don't know if it will work or not. So whatever caused this, it resulted in some parties not listed on the wiki. I'm taking a big risk here but I'll hook up my gamecube and try messing with my silver version's glitch mail some more. I no longer have a working GBA SP. I crushed the screen on mine because I'm an idiot..... T_T
