That is, in the Ice Cream Scoop mini-game. A while ago, I was using the Dream World in Spanish (yes, you can use the Dream World in any language despite the language of your cartridge), and when I did the Ice Cream Scoop mini-game, I noticed that the units were centimeters, but centimeters seemed to be the same length as inches: oi54.tinypic.com/12557yd.jpgI don't have a screenshot for the English version, but I can get one next time I use the Dream World. But if you've played the Dream World before in English, it's obvious that 20in is the same distance as 20cm here. Oops! I guess Nintendo thought nobody would notice. Well, I did.

Reminds me of that well-known instance where the Home Run Content in SSBM used metres in the EUR and JPN versions (or NTSC-US under the Japanese language option) instead of feet in the NTSC-US version. For some reason, where as the platform was extended in the Japanese version, it wasn't extended in the EUR version.

Yeah, they're exactly the same in the game. I'm pretty sure that all non-English versions use cm, while the English version (even for non-North American players who usually use cm) is always inches.
