Nintendo's legality checker in B/W is horrible

Yeah... I tried uploading a Battle Video that I had from Battle Subway online, but I get this message:

"There appears to be a problem with the Pokémon in the Battle Video."

...What? That would make sense if my Pokémon were hacked. But none of them were hacked in any way. They were all EV trained legitimately, have legit movesets, etc... So Nintendo's official legality checker is buggy and prevents legit videos from being used. Yes, that sucks.

Here are my Pokémon, for reference:

Some notes:

- Nidoking has Sheer Force because I obtained a female Nidoran with Hustle from the Dream World and bred it. As most people know, if you breed a female Nidoran, sometimes you get male Nidoran eggs, so you can pass on Hustle to it. And when both Nidorans reach their final form, their Dream World ability changes from Hustle to Sheer Force.

If this is the reason why this doesn't pass the legality checker, than that's screwed up... it's a completely legitimate Nidoking, I just bred to pass on the DW ability.

- Gyarados originated from Sinnoh, in the pond in the Resort Area in Platinum.

- All of the Pokémon have Pokérus. I hope this isn't the problem either?

- Don't laugh at the items on my Pokémon, I don't have the items I really want to use (at least not yet) because you can't transfer items from Gen IV to Gen V. Oh well.

I can't think of any other reason why the legality checker (the official one) thinks my Pokémon are hacked. It frustrates me, because it was a good video too. Argh.

Has anybody else had this, though?

I wouldn't be surprised if that was the case. The filter not only checks for the legality of the Pokémon species and moves, EV spread etc, but it also reviews the location/method you obtained it now. Even if you use a Pokémon which has a Platinum/HG-SS move tutor exclusive move the game will block it if it does not originate from that game (or in the case of a Dream World Pokémon it is not a legitimate Dream World move). It also blocks the berries unreleased in B/W at the present moment (Custap, Jaboca, etc.) but with the case of Charti, its been available since the launch of Pokémon Dream World in Japan hasn't it (via the random berry you get at the start [huh, wait a moment is it available?] ), so its not like they haven't upgraded that?

I guess that the game was catching on to the fact that Nidoran♂ and Nidoran♀ are two different species, and Nidoran♂ as a male only species is probably automatically blocked if it is bred to have a Dream World ability (because technically you can't have a female Nidoran♂ to pass it on and perhaps the filter oversaw that there is a chance of a Nidoran♀ egg to hatch into a Nidoran♂).

I'll breed my own Nidoran♂ with Hustle to see if a battle video is also rejected.

So the game blocks Pokémon that have moves that they can legally learn in Gen IV but not Gen V? Weird, I don't know the reasoning behind that at all. That must be an oversight. (Also, I don't think Gen IV's legality checker blocked moves that were only legal in Gen III, like various move tutor moves...) But in any case, none of my Pokémon know moves that they can only learn in Gen IV. All of these moves here were either level-up moves or TMs that exist in Gen V.

The Nidoran-M having Filter is the only possibility that I can think of. If you can test that out that would be great. (Hopefully you have a Nidoran-F with Hustle, if not I can give you one since I have a few.)

And yes, I've gotten Charti Berries from the Dream World -- I found one from someone's share shelf in the Dream World. I also found a Wacan Berry in the Dream World too -- once my Wacan Berry plant finishes growing I will send a few to my cart, ha ha. I have various other similar ones, too.

Nah it isn't quite that bad. It only blocks said Pokémon if it did not originate (was not Pokéshifted) from Generation IV.

Oh, well that makes sense. Anyway, did you by any chance try a Nidoran-M of your own yet?

EDIT: I later used the exact same Pokémon in a different video, and this time it actually worked. Very weird. I might as well post the video number in case anybody's curious:
