I saw this briefly on the Trivia section for Bulbapedia's Nightmare (move) article, added by "Necrosaro" on August 15, 2010. "Due to this, a glitch in Ruby and Sapphire where if a Nightmare-inflicted Pokémon rids itself of sleep status through the Shed Skin ability, Nightmare will still remain in effect, went undiscovered until the later games were sold." It might be a good idea to test some of the other moves which you wouldn't typically expect on Hoenn Pokémon (not in their normal learnsets/ TM/HM compatability): There's this the Pay Day glitch and Mail Trick glitch (JP). I wonder if there are any more like it. Also, though not strictly related there is a Sticky Hold glitch in Ruby/Sapphire, where the sprite of the enemy Pokémon stays if it has the Sticky Hold ability, you defeat it with Thief or Covet and it was holding an item, which requires a Secret Base trainer unless I'm mistaken? I've done it but haven't seen any footage of other players exploiting it on Youtube (except for a few screenshots on Bulbapedia). EDIT: LOL It's me. Another nickname. xD Hi NaiJPC!

Yeah, I saw the glitch on Bulbapedia. But I didn't find a vid of it, so I made one. ;D
And hi, Torchic.

That Mail Trick glitch interests me greatly, partly because I haven't the slightest clue how it works.

Didn't try, but I don't think so. I tried Sleep Talk, but it doesn't work (Snore probably doesn't too).
