What is the actual purpose of this Nintendo DS Lite message, and is it actually ever used officially? I ran into it today after inserting a regular GBA cartridge, a NES Classics Ice Climber (EUR) to be precise even though it is a legitimate cartridge. It was just a minor cartridge read error though (often I get the message of there being no Game Pak inserted even when there is) and reinserting it solved the problem and let me play the game the next time I turned the DS on. Apparently on the DS 'Phat' the message used to be "There is a DS Option Pak inserted." (without the c) and would come up for older versions of the G-BANK SD flash card prior to version 3.12. Out of interest, are there any other valid messages like this, apart from "There is no Game Pak inserted." and "Start GBA game." ? Edit: Never mind, this message is used for Guitar Hero: On Tour "Guitar Grip" peripheral wasn't it? *Facepalm*

I would guess that this message is also used for the Rumble Pak (Pack?) and memory expansion device.

The message is also used for the DS Memory Expansion Pak (that comes with the original DS browser). (Heck, I have one in my DSlite all the time now)
