I was walking around using walk through walls in Diamond with an Action Replay when I entered battle tower. I was surprised to see that it doesn't work inside the building.
I experimented and found out that if you walk through the building on the outside and enter the door from the back side, you can walk into the Mystery Zone.
It seems to be different that the normal mystery zone. It had some qualities of inside house mystery zone, such as place names, but I found the following things:
-Grass that was only visible if you walked in it, but no pokemon in it (I made sure with sweet scent) -Invisible but surfable water, but, again, no pokemon, even with fishing. -Invisible but jumpable ledges -Fog which can be defogged
I tried using town map when I encountered these areas to see if that would help but no difference. I was wondering if this was unique to battle tower and what you could find there. Also, can someone find a walk through walls that works in battle tower? That would help in exploring it alot.

Yeah, I know that effects. Unlike all other MZs, that the MENU can be opened in that one. Also, if you perform that on Platinum, if you press SAVE, you'll notice that the game will say your area is Faraway Place (the place many hacked pokémon come from ). As that's the only legal way to get into a MZ, I've looked for Battle Tower areas in my VEs (Void Explorings). Found two: one only works with my flags, and the other one... idk. What I still don't understand is why Step Counter doesn't work there. Anyways, what do you mean by "walk through walls that works in battle tower"?

The action replay code doesn't work to walk through walls inside the battle tower. I want to know if there is a code that allows you to walk through walls in it.

I use this code (for Diamond/Pearl):
94000130 FCFD0200 12056C06 00002000 D2000000 00000000 94000130 FEFE0000 12056C06 00001C20 D2000000 00000000 R+B to enable; R+A to disable.
Works anywhere for me, as well in BT.
And this is the path via The Void, if anyone cares (although I'm not sure if it works with other flags):
(430N) 4000E 9375N
Also, this one if for Platinum, if you wanna see the Faraway Place:
94000130 fcfd0200 12060c20 00002000 d2000000 00000000 94000130 fefe0000 12060c20 00001c20 d2000000 00000000
