Sooooo....
I've been doing a little research on Glitch Pokemon, and Bulbapedia has been pretty handy, but I thought I'd give you guys a look-see. I'm a little, uh, stymied, as to finding a nice, tidy list of all your Glitch 'mons. I understand this forum is temporary, and that I'm new, but... if you happen to have a Master List handy, could you kindly point the way? I can't figure out up from down here (perhaps this is appropriate, given the confusing, topsy-turvy nature of glitches).
If there is no master list, I just have one question- what/who is the most powerful glitch Pokemon? The one with the highest base-stats. I think Bulbapedia said it was a tie between hPoke and... female sign, I think. But I don't quite recall.

Note that it depends on which version you're playing when determining what the strongest glitch pokemon is. Also, many Item Mutators are only available with Paco's "get any pokemon" + "Cable Club blackout" glitch. [Edit: Sorry the tables stretch out the post. This was the only way I knew how to format the info and make it look half decent]

For a complete list of English version Red/Blue/Yellow glitch Pokémon (bar the 39 index numbers of Missingno. and maybe a few others: (please note that this was around circa 2006) see the archived GlitchDex index. Wayback machine unfortunately has not archived all of our individual pages. See also GARY 'M 9's list of TM/HM compatibilities for glitch Pokémon in Red/Blue and Yellow. A few highlights. Note that this isn't meant to represent the 'strongest' in anyway, because move-pools are important. There are many other glitch Pokémon that fare very well and can outperform these glitch Pokémon. : 1) ゥ: index number 193/C1 (Red/Blue): Unfortunately, when ゥ is encountered directly in the wild, or when an enemy Trainer sends out ゥ the game will freeze. This makes ゥ harder to obtain, though it can be obtained by doing the Johto guard glitch with Meganium. It has the following Base Stats: HP: 232 Attack: 137 Defense: 145 Special: 128 2) PokéWTrainer (196; C4) (Red/Blue): It shares the same Base Stats as ゥ (193), but also freezes the game when sent out on the opponent's side. It can be obtained by doing the Johto guard glitch with Typhlosion. 3) About 6 other glitch Pokémon with different index numbers that share the exact same Base Stats as PokéWTrainer and ゥ (193) but also freeze the game on the opponent's side. 4) 3TrainerPoké (Yellow) (BST: 725), It has amazing offenses and defenses though it is very rather slow and has bad HP. Despite this, it well because its extreme Defense and Special basically make it like an offensive Shuckle, and it also has recovery with Softboiled. It is easy to obtain; just trade over 'M (00) from R/B to Yellow as 3TrainerPoké is the equivalent glitch Pokémon. Fortunately it learns Thunder Wave from trading over 'M. Base Stats: 33 HP 233 Atk 206 Def 17 Spd 236 Special 5) 94/94h (Red/Blue) (BST: 715): They are index number F1 (241), and F9 (249) respectively and can be obtained by performing the Johto guard glitch with Wobbuffet (94) or Granbull (94h). They learn a wide range of moves, plus they are also Normal/Ghost types. Normal is prioritized though, so its not immune to Normal attacks. They have high balanced base stats. Base Stats: 142 HP 142 Atk 139 Def 145 Special 147 Speed You also might want to consider the fossil/ghost Missingno.; (hex B6-B8; index numbers 182-184 they copy the Base Stats and TM/HM compatibility of the Pokémon directly above them and are safe in Yellow. They can be encountered with Trainer-Fly using the 'ditto glitch' with a Special of 182-184. Basically, just put a Mew above it, teach it any TM/HM, then replace with a Pokémon of your choice. The game will only update the stats when it levels up/when you deposit it in a box.

The only way non-skeletal/ghost MissingNOs vary is that some have different cries. The list of MissingNOs are in this post. (The post is missing $20 which is just Nidoran(m) and the last three are Kabutops/Aerodactyl/Ghost respectively.)

Bulbapedia has it wrong if the Attack is 137 instead of 147 (see tables in my post). Either way, that's still higher than any other non-glitch pokemon. I wasn't sure whether any of these glitch pokemon were truly available looking around Bulbapedia because, as you said, many freeze the game and Bulbapedia doesn't always seem to mention which ones do or don't. Thanks for the info. I guess it might be necessary to do the Johto guard glitch (or try Paco's any pokemon glitch maybe). Excellent! There was no info on these ones. I'll be updating my list. This means that the strongest Glitch pokemon is actually not PokéWTrainer in R/B, but 3TrainerPoké in Yellow.

I have a couple questions... Do pokemon such as A (Uppercase) and ♀ . receive double Same Type Attack Bonuses for normal moves because their type is double Normal rather than the typical single Normal?
Also, when battling via cable connection does a glitch pokemon behave according to the stats and types on it's own cartridge or those on the opponent's cartridge? For example, if I were to battle a friend's team on their R/B cartridge using 3TrainerPoké on my Yellow cartridge, would 3TrainerPoké act like an 'M in battle?

I didn't see your table ciel4 because of the lack of any 'a new person posted while you were typing' notification. I'm sorry for missing it, preview doesn't help D:. I have a couple questions... For example, if I were to battle a friend's team on their R/B cartridge using 3TrainerPoké on my Yellow cartridge, would 3TrainerPoké act like an 'M in battle? They don't gain double STAB AFAIK, though I'll experiment if you want because I might be completely wrong. The other game would consider it to be the equivalent glitch Pokémon, and use its sprite, cry and possibly displayed type effectiveness message. The game does not change its name, so basically in your case on Yellow in Red/Blue the opponent would send out an 'M called 3TrainerPoké. In a standard battle, it will keep 3TrainerPoké's stats and type, because its details are not recalculated to pertain to the Base Stats of the particular species, unlike e.g. trading it to R/B and depositing it into a box. I don't believe there are any error handlers at all. For Colosseum2, in the case you have a Pokémon with unexpected stats, the expected guidelines for POKé Cup, Pika Cup, Petit Cup don't matter, because the game does not automatically change the levels and expected stats, and you have to acquire Pokémon at a certain level range yourself, though even if it did, this probably wouldn't be relevant because Colosseum2 is exclusive to Yellow (unless in 'similar' localizations of Yellow? e.g. sometimes it is possible to trade even between the English and I think, the French or German Red/Blue, where there are different glitch Pokémon; and the names of the Pokémon just get corrupted along with a few minor side effects.) There was a video on Youtube about something like this, though unfortunately the user removed it.

I didn't see your table ciel4 because of the lack of any 'a new person posted while you were typing' notification. I'm sorry for missing it, preview doesn't help D:. I certainly don't mind. ;D Of course it would be terrific if they did. I sort of doubt that we could get so lucky, but I'm hopeful enough to experiment myself when I get a chance. If you wouldn't mind experimenting that'd be great. Imagine the damage Hyperbeam or Explosion might do even against a much stronger opponent! Thanks for the answers! It sounds like the type effectiveness is not well known. I'm left to wonder whether Q (Water/Psychic), for example, would be invulnerable in battle to Ground type attacks from a red cartridge pokemon since Charizard 'M is Fire/Flying type. For all I know, maybe type effectiveness is completely ignored by one or both sides. I'm guessing it depends on which cartridge calculates the damage, in which case type effectiveness could vary depending on which cartridge is attacking/defending. I remembered another question. (Sorry if my constant curiosity annoys.) I'm just wondering if there's any similar information about the effectiveness and stats of glitch pokemon in Pokemon Stadium 1? Since the glitch types aren't recognized maybe they're all given some hum-drum standard base stats? Though I imagine it's unlikely, I also wonder if Stadium 1 might ever use a pokemon's DVs without recalculating such as maybe when the pokemon is used directly from the cartridge rather than registered in a team from a cartridge. If there are no answers to be found here, I doubt they'll be anywhere. I'll get around to testing these things myself some time, of course.

I just updated my tables and tweaked my key. I had calculated my averages incorrectly but now they're correct. Also, disregard what I said earlier about 3TrainerPoké in Yellow being stronger overall than PokéWTrainer in R/B.

Do pokemon such as A (Uppercase) and ♀ . receive double Same Type Attack Bonuses for normal moves because their type is double Normal rather than the typical single Normal? In Yellow, although ♀ (hex C1) in the stat screen says Type1/Normal Type2/Normal, does not mean it really is Type Normal (internally ♀ is Type1/Glitch Type2/Glitch, the same can happen with any glitch Pokémon with Dex number >151). If using Gameshark you change 1 glitch type of ♀ by Normal type, then the ♀´s Normal moves gain STAB. A Pokémon with Type1/Normal Type2/Normal don't gain double STAB using Normal moves, if a Pokémon in the stat screen only have 1 type, then really the Type2 is the same. For example: Raticate internally is Type1/Normal Type2/Normal, a Raticate with Attack stat of 80 using Quick Attack, in battle cause the same damage that un Pidgeot (Type1/Normal Type2/Flying) with Attack stat of 80 using Quick Attack. In a Cable Link Battle between Yellow vs Red, if Q is used in Yellow, then in the Red cartridge Q appears as Charizard ´M but with Stats and Types of Q, this means that in Red cartridge is possible use Ground moves in Q (Chrarizard ´M sprite) because really have Water/Psychic types.

Excellent info. I had no idea ♀ was actually a glitch type. I'll also be prepared now if I decide to crush any friends in battle with my glitch pokemon. Thanks a million!

I went ahead and updated the availability info in my tables above in case anyone finds this information useful.
I also added several item mutator glitch pokemon.
