Could the glitch be partially pulling from map data? I'm not sure how works internally this glitch.

I found out that Surge's level 28 Raichu in Yellow gives Diglett.

on route 6 in Pikachu yellow there are two definite trainers that yield different pokemon, the two that are right next to each other. the guy on the left yields an onix, and the girl on the right yeilds a tentacool.

I made this like... a year and a half ago, but it only applies to Red/Blue. puu.sh/257SEdit by Torchickens: That stretches the page quite a lot. I modified your post to convert it into a hyperlink. Hope you don't mind This is quite confusing

wwwxxyy your chart is awesome and it's helped me a lot. I was just confused about the self-destruct part. I want to get a Lapras so I thought of using the hiker between the rock tunnel and lavender town but I would have to end the battle with the onyx. How do I do this? I made my voltorb use selfdestruct but it just fainted, the enemy onyx still had some hp left and then I still have to beat the graveler (=gastly). How do I get out of that battle? What am I doing wrong??

Mcc, you need to have your last Pokemon conscious use explosion to knock yourself out of the battle. Once that happens you will warp to the last pokecenter. Then travel back to the LRT to get your desired pokemon.

For those using Yellow and trying to get Missingno, I've worked out that it seems to be certain special values that cause missingno encounters that crash the game. So far, the only Special number I've found that doesn't is 50, which you can find by catching Gastlys in Pokemon Tower until you get one with the stat, level 21-23 Gastlys are most likely to have this. If other people would like to find other values that don't cause crashes, that'd be awesome

Don't know if anyone will see this but are there any trainers in pokemon yellow who have a pokemon that makes you encounter a mewtwo or a snorlax?
