Hybrid glitch Pokémon no longer exist in Generation V, as the original Pokémon (without the first digit from the left in XXXX) appears instead. The Egg (650) and Manaphy Egg (651) appear as expected. Manaphy Egg is no longer rendered as 'Bad Egg' in the wild. There is a new Generation V placeholder Pokémon (000) for Pokémon Black and White, which uses an unused 'grey question mark in a white circle' sprite. Gray question mark in a white circle? Like in Diamond/Pearl? Looks like there's another proof that there will be Ruby and Sapphire remakes. The Decamarks returns ;). Is there a video of the placeholder? Yes. (Do you mean 'like in Generation III?' In Generation IV the 000 placeholder was just a 'chunk of whiteness'). Tsukuu's video:

Thought I'd bring this up.
I never got to video this because my camera is bad and has a terrible battery life, but if you take GenIV:494 into the Pokéthlon there are multiple errors regarding its collisioning. In itself, the Pokéthlon sprite is of a twin with a glitched palette IIRC, although its walking Pokémon sprite defaults to Bulbasaur.
If you run into a wall in the Relay Race with it the lap counter will jump up lots.
Edit:Additionally, GenIV:000's walking Pokémon sprite is also of a twin. I saw this by starting a New Game and entering the Hall of Fame by using a warp code at the beginning of the game in HG/SS and using an additional code to force myself to have 1 Pokémon in the party even though I hadn't received a starter Pokémon yet.

Yes. It was a twin (the sprite leftover from D/P [or do twins in the Battle Frontier still use it?] Though there are leftover D/P sprites in HG/SS, like Lucas' berry watering pose). For GenIV:494 in the Pokéthlon, it uses the right palette. Some quick photographs I took using the 3DS' Camera instead: Unfortunately, since you can't take videos on the 3DS as of yet I couldn't show exactly what happens when GenIV:494 runs into an obstacle. Though most of the time it jumps back to the start or below the obstacle, and the lap count increases by a lot (e.g. ~60). When you 'warp', the lap count may actually start to decrease if you carry on running. Any rocks in the background may also 'disappear' and 'reappear' this way. The lap counter may also go to something like e.g. 50.? laps. The ? is an integer greater than 9 in this case and if you were to finish the race with e.g. 15.? laps it might jump to say e.g. 56.3 laps.

This is odd. How does the game do that? No one will know...
(Subject Change) I'm wondering if anyone is doing research on Mystery Dungeon glitch pokemon.

I've seen a guy controlling Munchlax in RRT, but don't have the link or the code. D:
Anyway, this is the Hero Modifier code for EoS: 122b5158 0000xxxx
For EoT (didn't test): 122ad6e8 0000xxxx
I haven't found a code for EoD, although I'm 50% sure the EoT code would work in EoD as well.
The pokémon 000 has a invisible sprite and freezes the game when entering a dungeon as Leader. If it's as a Partner, it won't appear and the game will freeze once you exit the dungeon. I also noticed that it probably doesn't learn any move, since Electivire didn't show the list of moves to remember.
Talk to Chimecho if you wanna see crazy names in its summary. xD

Thanks for the EoS code. I was looking everywhere for it.
In EoT, I put the pokemon 0000 for me AND my partner and I went in the Normal/Flying Maze. The sprite was a messed Staravia.
I found a odd glitch pokemon in EoT. The Hex ID is B528. Name: Iron Tail Gender: None Sprite: Unown B. Species: The Wigglytuff Pokemon Type: Mold Breaker: Prevents the foe's ability from activating when the Pokemon attacks Ability: This mail address has been registered Size: ***** Evolution: No further Talk (High HP): TALK_MESSAGE_HEALTHY_512 Talk (Medium HP): Gray Gummi Talk (Low HP): (Orb sprite) Lob Orb

I got me a weird M' block today. It was level 80. I caught him, gave him a rare candy, and he evolved into Kangaskhan and his level became 61!!! Also his health bar went over (like 270/200).

I was randomly testing some IDs: 0x0219 and 220 (221 too?) have Bulbasaur's sprite (0x0218 is Giratina-Origin) and the 0x01FF has Yanmega's sprite.

The full code I used was: 122AD6E8 A3A4B528 for the Hero or 122AD750 A3A4B528 for the Partner. B528 is the last 4 digits. What's odd is that this pokemon is the Wigglytuff pokemon and the pokemon before it (122AD6E8 A3A4B527 for the Hero or 122AD750 A3A4B527 for the Partner) is the Jigglypuff Pokemon. It is also interesting to note that Shaymin and Arceus are in all three of the Mystery Dungeon 2 games. Their names are ?????????? (Decamark :P) and their signature moves are called $$$.

Yeah, since the first code is 122AD6E8, the second holds the ID, although I dunno what the A3A4 means. :/
