They're unusable, except a few one which you can transfer to Crystal and get some event items. Other than that, their only good use is to sell for a good price. ;D

I've been out of the loop for a while. Is it possible to get Hex:FF or Hex:00 in G/S/C without using a gameshark?

Indeed. You have to get a "bad clone" (a pokémon who got corrupted by a failed attempt to clone, who is at Lv. 0 and a different gender from the original one), put it on daycare and take it back.
Iirc how to get a FF, you'd have to have 000 + other 5 pokémon, make 000 lead the party, move a pokémon to your party (you'll have 7 pokémon), and put 000 in daycare.

A better explanation can be found here.
In order to get 00, you'll need to do the glitch with no move in the third slot. FF can be obtained randomly through bad cloning or doing Tsukuu's method.

Ah, alright. I've done the celebi/egg trick before, I didn't know that was all there is to it. Thanks guys.

Not sure if you guys are cool with rom talk here. Does anybody know where I can get a Crystal rom that supports storage system cloning? I've tried a couple now and I can't make it work on either, but the same method worked fine on Gold...

The timing for resetting is different. I can clone on mine. But if you're sure it's the ROM (maybe just the 1.0), try googling some more or searching on filestube, because we indeed can't give ROM links here.

Because I've tried resetting everywhere from "Yes No" to "power..." and nothing has happened. To clarify, I'm trying to do the bad clone glitch so I can try a run with that map corruption thing that was posted a while back, and it doesn't seem to have any consistency on Gold/Silver.

I heard it's easier on gamecube playing a G/S/C, idk much on this topic but is there a gamecube emulator that lets you play G/S/C? It could make it easier for you.

Lol that happened to me once. You need to sacrifice move a pokémon in order to get past from the corrupted one (maybe not, because I did on VBA, which doesn't have the "best" GBC emulation ).
