I've been reading up on this Celebi Egg Glitch, and while I haven't had the chance to test it myself, I am intrigued. I am also curious. If there is a way to dictate the species of the Pokemon that hatches from the egg, isn't it plausible that one can dictate its other qualities as well? I've heard that it can be born with a held item, including items otherwise unobtainable, but I'm also curious about things such as the moves that it knows when it hatches. Word on the street is that the DVs aren't random either, a rumor that I find very interesting, and that you can impact the stat exp that it is born having. Is there more information about this available?

The hatched Pokémon's item depends on the index number of the fourth attack of the Pokémon you used for breeding and the species depends on the index number of the third attack. That's very intriguing. I wonder if it would be possible to use a ?? (255) as a DV donor. What about moves? I think I heard something about using the glitch to get a Surfing Pikachu, which would imply that it is possible to drop a specific moves onto the hatched Pokemon. I also wonder if there is a way to preserve the original OT and ID?
