Ever since I learned how to do the Q glitch and the basics of how to stabilize hybrids I've thought long and hard about what would make for ideal combinations of pokemon type, species, stats, and movesets.
There's still much I don't understand and my research has turned up little in the way of detailed explanations that could answer my questions.
So here's the deal... I'd like to know whether it's possible to permanently transfer one pokemon's moves and/or stats to another and make that pokemon stable (without evolving it). I'd also like to know how stability is affected by trading between gameboys and whether an unstable hybrid actually behaves according to its type(s) in battle.
Here are a couple examples of what I'd like to do: - transfer the move transform from Mew to Chansey OR - transfer Chansey's stats to a Mew or Ditto The idea is to have a pokemon with super high HP and the ability to transform for use in Pokemon Stadium.
Further ambitions include: - creating a stable normal type pokemon with Dragonite's stats OR - permanently changing Dragonite into a normal type pokemon so that it gets STAB with Hyperbeam
I don't know if any of the above is possible. With the Q glitch I know it's possible to teach any TM or HM move to a pokemon and then stabilize it in Stadium, but that doesn't account for non TM moves obviously, and it doesn't permanently change a pokemon's type attack bonuses as far as I can tell.
Also, I read somewhere about a the move Transform being used to permanently (or at least semi-permanently) change a ditto's stats. I think it had to do with Mimic being used to copy Transform and allowing a wild ditto to double-transform and overwrite it's original stats. Is this just a rumor? Could I catch a wild ditto with mew's stats, for example?
So many questions...

tldr; Read the bulleted examples above and please let me know if there's any way to do any of those things.

Could I catch a wild ditto with mew's stats, for example? This is true, but using this method only is possible transfer DV´s (not permanently stats) to a wild Ditto (also to a lv10 Mew or Route 23 Spearow/Fearow, but if a wild Pokémon use Transform move at catch it turns into an Ditto), then is impossible transfer Mew´s stats to a wild Ditto. Using Q Glitch is possible put Transform move to Chansey. I made a video. www.megaupload.com/?d=MUDFVBUABasically an unstable hybrid is composed of 2 parts: - Pokémon Sprite - Pokémon real In battle, an unstable hybrid behaves as the Pokémon real (type, strength and weaknesses). An unstable hybrid learn moves (by raise level or TM/HM) and evolve according to Pokémon Sprite. Further ambitions include: - creating a stable normal type pokemon with Dragonite's stats OR - permanently changing Dragonite into a normal type pokemon so that it gets STAB with Hyperbeam I don't know if any of the above is possible. Currently this is not possible, but using Q Glitch recently I found a method for change bytes in the Pokémon data structure. Theorically is possible get a Dragonite normal type (or glitch type), also is possible get any Pokémon in the game including all the Glitch Pokémon. Soon I will try explain this new method with my bad english.

;D Thank you very much! I need to find a different computer on which to download your video since my network won't allow me to. Parlo l'italiano correntemente se per caso le posso aiutare. Il suo inglese mi pare piu' forte del mio italiano in ogni caso!

Actually, I recall a use of either Stadium 1 or 2 to stabilize a Q glitch pokemon without evolving it. It was documented on the forums (when they were still up, of course) so if you can wait for them to come back up, it should be there.

I didn't think about letting Chansey (Mew sprite) learn the move at level 10, and I didn't know you could stabilize a hybrid through the daycare center. That's great!! Does trading a pokemon between gameboys also stabilize a hybrid? I thought you might speak Italian since the megaupload page you linked me to was in Italian, but then you did mention the Spanish version of Pokemon in your other post. Your English is good, even if it's not perfect. I understand your writing as easily as that of most educated native English speakers. My problem was that I stabilized my hybrids too early, before they could learn the moves I wanted them to.

Does trading a pokemon between gameboys also stabilize a hybrid? Via Cable Link is possible trade an unstable hybrid between RBY to RBY, but the unstable hybrid is not stabilize. Via Cable Link is not possible trade an unstable hybrid from RBY to GSC because appears "Your friend´s Pokémon appears to be abnormal" message and the trade is automatically cancelled.
